Happy Father's Day!

Here's to celebrating Zac's second Father's Day - and what a wonderful daddy he has made! Zac is gentle, kind, playful and loving with Zoë, but also strong, firm, wise and consistent. She loves him so!

 

It is a joy and a delight to watch them interact. Daddy is a pro distracter during diaper changes (which are becoming increasingly more difficult), and his awesome dance moves keep Zoë entertained while I do the dirty work. Literally.

I love that Zoë often wants daddy to put her down for her naps, excitedly scrambles down the hall when I tell her to "go get daddy!" in the morning, and explodes into giggles and happy squeals when she sees him come home after a long day. I am blessed to have him as my partner in crime on this journey through parenthood.

Today we celebrated Father's Day with two fathers - Daddy and Grandpa (my dad), who has been and continues to be a wonderful father and friend, and a fantastic grandpa!
