14 Months: Walk-a-walk-a-walk-a!

Slowly but surely, Zoë cruised around and held onto our fingers while walking until just a couple weeks ago when she finally had the confidence and courage to let go! And, oh, was she proud of herself :) Now she just struts around with her tummy sticking out slightly and a big grin on her face. Soon she will be off and running...with me running after her!

What else has she been up to this past month? Well, Zoë's vocabulary is growing every day. She shows comprehension of what we say to her and can sign back nearly 20 words. She even came up with the sign for hat (patting her head) all on her own and started asking to wear it several times throughout the day - especially during mealtimes :s.

Zoë also asks to go outside several times throughout the day, though usually right before bedtime - she's a sneaky one! Another exciting addition to our home and Zoë's activities is a new keyboard that she LOVES to play. I have to admit, her compositions are better than some 20th century/contemporary music out there :)

It is difficult to catch our little walker in motion with a camera, so here is something even better - enjoy!
